It was 1962 when Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni designed the Arco lamp for the newly founded Flos. Its success cannot be separated from the cultural discourse carried out in those years by enlightened entrepreneurs and designers. An ingenious lamp, one of the most imitated icons in the history of design, the genesis of Arco has stimulated the most varied interpretations.
