COKE BOTTLE

The glass Coca Cola bottle was invented by designer Earl R. Dean. Its sinuous and feminine shape is known throughout the world, recognizable and distinctive. The first prototype of the bottle was invented and patented in 1915. However, it never went into production as the central diameter was larger than the base, so the bottle did not guarantee good stability on conveyor belts.
In 1957 a new model was placed on the market which no longer featured the classic embossing of the brand, replaced instead by normal white writing. In 1960, Coca Cola packaging became the second package in history to be registered as a trademark.
The following year, on the occasion of the company's 75th anniversary, the white label was replaced by a two-tone label, white and red, which gave the bottle a joyful and "international" appearance. All these versions of Coca Cola packaging were widely distributed throughout the world until the invention of the plastic bottle in 1994.
