COMB 1

The history of the comb has its roots in the most ancient and remote past. Its invention dates back to prehistory, although its use was different from today and very often it also had a cultural function. In ancient Egypt, combs were inserted into tombs together with the deceased. They were combs with a single row of teeth, with a simple or carved rib that could depict men and/or animals, sometimes the owner's name was also engraved on them.
