DANDELION

Taraxacum officinale is a very widespread species in the Mediterranean that we certainly know better by the name of "soffione" or "dandelion" or even "dog's tooth". In English Dandelion, this yellow flower fills our fields in May giving them a cheerful and carefree appearance due to the yellow inflorescence and its weedy nature, which leads it to grow in all uncultivated lawns and gardens.

The plant has healing properties and almost all of its parts are used. Dandelion has various activities on the body. These effects are recognized and therefore any overdosages are dangerous, which is why tinctures, extracts and infusions must be used only on medical and veterinary advice and supervision, as this also applies to our animals.
