FORTUNY

The Fortuny lamp was born with the need to create indirect and diffused light in a scenographic environment. From this need, Fortuny set out to design and create, in an innovative way, an umbrella-shaped lampshade whose purpose was to propagate reflected light towards a subject placed in a closed environment.

The inspiration for the creation of the floor lamp came from the tripod structure of cameras. This system allows, through a mobile central axis, the height adjustment of the lamp. The structure of the lighting complex, made up of the lampshade and the lamp itself, makes possible the condition of a directional setting to allow better versatility and adjustability of the object and the light.
