KITE

Symbol of lightness and freedom, the kite was born in China because the most suitable materials for its construction were available there. At the time paper did not yet exist and bamboo immediately proved to be a suitable wood for the construction of the frame due to its resistance and flexibility characteristics. Initially, the veiling and the strings of the kites were made using fabric, especially silk, decorated with precious designs that recalled the themes of the mythology of the time.
