POST-IT

Post-it® were born from a mistake. That's right, you got it right! In fact their birth is due partly to chance and partly to the right intuition of Dr. Spencer Silver. The 3M scientist, during his laboratory research on new strong and resistant adhesive glues, found in his hands a type of lightweight adhesive, which did not stick permanently to surfaces, therefore not compliant with the needs of his research.

However, Dr. Silver never gave up on finding suitable uses for his invention, which at first seemed to have no use. The enlightening idea came 4 years later, thanks to his fellow scientist, Arthur Fry.
