SOCCER BALL

The ball is the true protagonist of football matches and over the years it has transformed from a rudimentary object into a highly technological product. In the second half of the 19th century, when football was born, balls made of animal bladders covered in leather were used. In the following century, numerous changes were introduced, including the inner tube, and in the 1970s the dark leather balls were replaced by those with black and white squares, which are still very widespread today.
