TACO

Tacos are a traditional dish that comes from Mexico, but is famous all over the world. It is a true testimony to the history of this country. In fact, corn, one of the basic ingredients of tacos, was considered a sacred food by the Mayans and Aztecs. Pre-Columbian civilizations even believed that the gods had fashioned man from corn. Subsequently the Spanish conquistadors brought their influences and contaminations. Since then the recipe has been enriched with meat, herbs, spices and tasty sauces that make tacos irresistible.
